Mustafa Kamal and Anis Qaimkhani have been ‘brought to Pakistan’: Waseem Akhtar
KARACHI: MQM representative Waseem Akhtar said Mustafa Kamal and Anis Qaimkhani have been brought to Pakistan, ARY News reported.
Waseem Akhtar also said that both Mustafa Kamal and Anis Qaimkhani don’t have any importance and neither were they politicians. He also said that the two individuals lacked political experience. Stating that both of them were brought to Pakistan, Akhtar said very soon matters would be clear in front of the nation.
Akhtar issued the statements in light of Mustafa Kamal and Anis Qaimkhani’s fiery statements from a couple of days ago. Both ex leaders of the MQM had returned from overseas and announced the formation of a new political party. Serious allegations were levelled at MQM chief Altaf Hussain during the press conference.
After the press conference, MQM suspended the memberships of Anis Qaimkhani and Mustafa Kamal. Yesterday, demonstrations were held by MQM leaders and activists throughout Karachi in protest of Kamal’s statements.
