Some people want bloodshed in Islamabad: Ayaz Sadiq
ISLAMABAD: Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said on Sunday that there were some people who wanted to cause bloodshed in the federal capital.
Indirectly slamming PTI chief Imran Khan and his political party, Sadiq said that even till now, secretive meetings were being held in Islamabad.
“Finding the lock to in London to seal Islamabad will prove to be difficult,” he said.
Ayaz Sadiq did not spare any criticism on AML chief Sheikh Rasheed, who has joined hands with Imran Khan in his move to cripple the government.
“Sheikh Rasheed keeps on giving dates regarding when the government will go home,” he said. “Sheikh Rasheed should now only give the date of his wedding,” he added lightly.
Referring to PTI’s sit-in protest of 2014, Ayaz Sadiq said that even before, a conspiracy to harm democracy was hatched in London.
Imran Khan has called on his supporters to stage a massive protest against the government on October 30 in Islamabad. The PTI chief has boasted of rallying thousands of people in his bid to paralyze the federal government and shut down Islamabad.
Imran has given two conditions to the Prime Minister; resign or present himself for accountability regarding the Panama Leaks controversy.
