PTI should have marked Youm-e-Nidamat instead: Fazal
DERA ISMAIL KHAN: JUI-F chief Maulana Fazal-ur-Rahman said on Wednesday that instead of celebrating ‘Youm-e-Tashakur, PTI should have marked ‘Youm-e-Nidamat’ instead.
Speaking to media personnel in Dera Ghazi Khan, Maulana Fazal-ur-Rahman stated that he could not help wonder how a petition which was previously considered inadmissible was rendered admissible overnight.
“They (PTI) should mark Youm-e-Nidamat or Black Day instead in admission of the fact that they were unable to do anything,” he said.
Maulana Fazal-ur-Rahman said that questions will be raised and fingers will be pointed at the commission since one of the two parties in the case was claiming it had been formed as a result of his pressure.
Maulana Fazal-ur-Rahman also slammed KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak and said that a treason case should be registered against him for dividing the nation due to his incendiary statements.
PTI celebrated its ‘Youm-e-Tashakur’ day on Wednesday after the Supreme Court of Pakistan agreed to hear the Panamagate scandal and asked for both the parties in the case, the government and the opposition, to submit their Terms of Reference for the formation of a commission.
After the decision of the Supreme Court, PTI chief Imran Khan called off his ‘Islamabad Lockdown’ protest intended to paralyze the federal capital and hailed the decision of the apex court.
Clashes had erupted between police and PTI workers led by Pervez Khattak at Swabi and Burhan Interchange when the latter tried to defy obstacles and reach Bani Gala to meet Imran Khan.
