PPP’s Shehla Raza receives death threat letter
KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party leader and Deputy Speaker of the Sindh Assembly, Shehla Raza claimed on Tuesday that she received a death letter that warned her she would meet the same fate as slain ex-Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.
Shehla Raza claimed that she had received a letter this morning from an address in Rawalpindi. She stated that the letter threatened her that she would meet the same fate as that of Benazir Bhutto if she did not pay Rs 50 million. The writer also threatened to target Sindh Assembly with a bomb blast if she did not pay the above mentioned amount.
Raza added that she had previously received threatening phone calls. DG Rangers and the Police IG have been informed of this letter.
