5.4 magnitude earthquake rattles Islamabad, parts of KP, Punjab
ISLAMABAD: A 5.4 magnitude earthquake shook the federal capital and parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab on Tuesday.
According to reports, the epicenter of the quake was in Hindu Kush region and it struck at a depth of 179 kilometers.
The tremors were felt in Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Nowshera, Chitral, Swat, Kohat, Abbottabad, Shangla, Upper Deer, Lower Deer, Para Chinar, Kurram Agency, Orakzai Agency and North Waziristan.
No loss of life or property has been reported from the affected areas.
