Karachiites can see International Space Station with naked eye today
The International Space Station will be visible over Karachi on Tuesday evening, website of a local Pakistani television reported.
According to the report, the space station will be visible on Tuesday evening at 6:42 PM for only three minutes.
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) says the International Space Station is the third brightest object in the sky and easy to spot if you know when to look up.
“Visible to the naked eye, it looks like a fast-moving plane only much higher and traveling thousands of miles an hour faster,” according to the NASA.
The International Space Station (ISS) is a space station, or a habitable artificial satellite, in low Earth orbit. Its first component launched into orbit in 1998, and the ISS is now the largest artificial body in orbit and can often be seen with the naked eye from Earth.
