‘Jerk and pull’: It’s Trumpshake not handshake
WASHINGTON: Donald Trump has been creating controversies around everything he does either deliberately or unknowingly.
His handshake is the new item on the long list.
Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was ‘visibly bewildered’ on his epic 19-second-long handshake with Trump, which soon stirred debate on every platform.
The Guardian explained this unusual handshake as ‘the strange, jerky movement he (Trump) deploys to dominate his counterparts.
If Abe’s visit was something less, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s White House journey has all the spice it needed. First it was Ivanka, whose pictures of meeting with Justin surprised everyone and then come the handshake.
But Justin Trudeau managed to neutralise the Trumpshake with a clever combination of timing, balance and control, the newspaper said.
