Daily EnGKARACHI: Three members of an outlawed group were killed in an encounter with Rangers in Karachi, ARY News reported on Thursday.

Armed men opened fire over Rangers personnel in Manghopir area during a targeted operation. Three attackers were killed in retaliatory fire of the Ranger personnel.

The slain men were involved in a missile attack on Razmik cadet college and killing of more than 50 military troops in South Waziristan tribal region, a spokesman of Rangers said.

They were also wanted in murder of 12 policemen and other heinous crimes in Karachi, the spokesman said.

Moreover, two members of Baba Ladla gang were arrested after a shootout between the armed men and the law enforcement personnel in Phoolpatti Lane in Lyari.

The law enforcement agencies arrested three accused in a raid in Jatoi Mohalla of Lyari.
