Qureshi suggests Fazl to quit govt if women law un-Islamic
MULTAN: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Tuesday suggested Maulana Fazlur Rahman to part ways with the government, if he finds the Women Protection Law un-Islamic, ARY News reported.
Talking to media here, Qureshi slammed government for the failure of all schemes introduced by it. He said the traders have also rejected the Tax Amnesty Scheme and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar admitted this fact.
He said the government also held local elections out of compulsion, yet the councilors today are left with no option but to protest after being denied powers.
The PTI leader went on to say that Tehreek-i-Insaf is the only party that is promoting democracy.
Moreover, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that PTI chief Imran Khan will address a rally in Jalalpur on December 13 with regard to by-election in NA-153 Multan-VI.
