Daily-pegham ENGLAHORE: Head Coach of Pakistan cricket team Waqar Younis has said that the side is determined to succeed in the World Twenty20, ARY News reported.

Speaking to media on Friday, Waqar Younis said that his team will try to perform better in the mega event.

“Pakistan is determined succeed the World T20. Chairman PCB Shahryar Khan has also motivated the players”, Younis said.

“Good news is that Pakistan is leaving for India to take part in the World Twenty20”, he added.

Younis stated that the green shirts’ record against India at Kolkata has been good and it will be the first time that the side will take on the neighboring country in a 20 over game at the venue.

The Head Coach denied that there were differences between him and Captain Shahid Afridi.

“Along with Afridi, the top order has failed to provide significant contributions for the team”, he added.
