Pakistan win ODI series as Babar shines again
SHARJAH: Pakistan defeated West Indies by 59 runs in the second One-day International of the three-match series here at the Sharjah cricket stadium on Sunday.
Pakistan won the three-match ODI series as they had won the first match, also in Sharjah, by 111 runs.
West Indies chasing a difficult target of 338, could make 278 for the loss of seven wickets in the fifty allotted overs.
Earlier, Pakistan batted first after winning the toss and scored a mammoth total of 337 for five wickets I n the 50 overs.
Fast-rising one-drop batsman Babar Azam cracked a successive hundred, a magnificent 125-ball 123 spiced with nine boundaries and a six after 120 in the first game on Friday.
Babar was followed by Shoaib Malik (90) and Sarfraz Ahmed (60).
