While it is time for sustainable development, renewable energies, smart cities, etc. – in Brussels, and in Ixelles in particular, a new page of history opens.

In 1885, Karl Benz built the first car with a traditional engine. Since then, these cars have exhausted natural resources and polluted the environment and the quality of life. In 2018, the first fully electric car at a very democratic price, worldwide, finally sees the day!

Everyone agrees that we should quickly replace traditional cars with electric cars. These are currently only accessible in the high-end market. To give access to electric cars to the majority of citizens at a democratic prices, there is currently a “revolution en marche”.

A prototype of an electric car (size of a Fiat Panda) will be shown for the first time to the public from Monday, April 9 to Wednesday, April 11. This car “colour frog” will be exposed in front of the old Gare de Luxembourg. The official unveiling will take place on:

Experts will be present to answer questions – and selfies will be allowed.

A new holding, the Royal Family Holding, has just been created. Their first project is to build electric vehicles: motorcycles, cars and buses.

This “eco-friendly” concept will develop quickly in the coming months and years, given its affordability and high energy performance, which allows users to save significant energy and costs.

The Brussels representative office of this new holding has as main activity the financing in partnership of projects (SMEs and large ones). The office will celebrate its inauguration this week. Financial and technology experts will be present in a pleasant and festive atmosphere.
